Lesli Nicole Hooper

Obituary: Lesli Nicole Hooper, 33, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her residence. Death was unexpected. Lesli was born January 13, 1985 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of Barbara Annette Honbarger Hooper of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. and the late Steven Ronald Hooper. She was a 2003 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and attended Rowan-Cabarrus College for two years. Lesli was a hostess at Pier 51 restaurant and was of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid animal lover. She dearly loved her family. Family members left to cherish her memory are her Mother; Barbara Honbarger Hooper, Paternal Grandmother, Helen Hooper of Kannapolis, Maternal Grandfather, Harold Honbarger of Concord, three Aunts; LaDonna Yoos(David) and their children Martin and Celina,; all of Kannapolis, Judy and Danny Jung of Concord, Wanda and Joe Hines of Irmo, S.C. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Barbara Watkins. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
