Obituary: Leslie Janette Adams Storie, 44, of Mooresville (Enochville community), passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born August 13, 1970 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Joy Crainshaw Adams Purser and James Alvis Adams. Leslie was a cardiovascular technician at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Cabarrus Shrinettes in the past. Leslie was involved with Dixie Youth and China Grove Youth baseball teams. She loved the beach and going to the lake. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 9, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Cheryl Skinner. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Whitley's. She is survived by husband, Marty Storie, son, Joshua Adam Storie, mother, Joy Crainshaw Adams Purser (Tommy), father, James Alvis Adams , grandmother, Josephine Adams and her beloved pet, Hunter.
