Lester Eugene Philemon

Lester Eugene Philemon, 96, of Kannapolis, passed away June 23, 2024 at Five Oaks Rehab in Concord.
He was born December 31, 1927 in Cabarrus Co. to the late William Eli Philemon and Maggie Hagler.
Lester was an only child, he was in the U.S. Navy during WWII, He worked at Cannon Mills till his retirement.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Crisp.
Those left to cherish his memory, his children, Gary Philemon, Danny Philemon, Brenda Benfield (Bobby), eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Carolina Memorial Park.
