Letha Ruth (Williams) Gee

Letha Ruth Gee, 96, of Kill Devil Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Outer Banks Hospital.

Letha was born on September 19, 1924 in Randolph, West Virginia to the late Dolph Williams and Mary Martin Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Gee, and brothers and sisters.

Letha loved spending time outside gardening flowers. She also enjoyed cooking and reading books of all kinds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Marion (Debbie) Gee, Earl (Rosie) Gee, James (Suzie) Williams Gee, and Leroy Gee; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Nellie O’ Callahan, Cathy Williams, Shirley Williams, Darlene Williams, Charlotte Williams and brothers, David Williams, and Paul Williams.

A memorial service honoring Letha’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Carolina Memorial Park.
