Lewis Eugene Christenbury

Obituary: Mr. Lewis Christenbury, 67, of Concord passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 peacefully at CHS-NorthEast. Mr. Christenbury is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Sandra Christenbury and his dad, Frank Christenbury, both from Concord. He was born on April 16, 1947 in Concord, NC. His mother Grace Bolick resides in Hickory, NC. Mr. Christenbury is a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation in 1998. Survivors include his two daughters, Beth Kirk (son-in-law, Jon) of Kannapolis, Melissa Hsin (brother-in-law, Robert) of Charlotte, four grandchildren, Jordan Kirk, Katie Kirk, Maiya Hsin and Tristan Hsin; two sisters, Geraldine Rhodes, of Concord and Beverly Boyd, of Mooresville, NC. His two brother-in-laws include; Charlie Rhoades, of Concord and Bobby Boyd, of Mooresville, NC. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, April 3rd at Concord First Assembly Suite 15 at The Village with the Rev. Stephen Hargett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
