Lexie Carlton Frazier, Jr

January 18, 1956 — February 21, 2024

Kannapolis

On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, our beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend, left his earthly home to reside forever in his heavenly one. Lexie (Lex) Carlton Frazier, Jr. was surrounded by his family at Best of Care Assisted Living Facility as years of declining health due to Lewy Body Dementia came to an end.

Lex was born January 18, 1956, in Hopewell, Virginia to Lexie Carlton Frazier, Sr and Mary Helen Aultman Goode.  He graduated from Hopewell High School.

Lex worked for Phillip Morris in Virginia where he married his wife of 43 years, Donna Brown.  He was transferred in 1983 and retired from the company in 2008.

Lex and Donna have two sons, William (Jennifer) and Justin (Holly) and five grandchildren: Corbin, Ryker, and Kora Frazier (Will) and Lincoln and Landon Frazier (Justin).

Lex was preceded in death by father, Lexie Carlton Frazier, Sr and his brother, Phillip Frazier.  Along with his immediate family, those left to cherish his memory are his mother Mary Helen Goode (David), brother, Terry Frazier, nephew Travis Frazier and niece, Alex Frazier (Jake).

Lex was quite a sportsman.  He loved UNC Chapel Hill Tarheels and the Carolina Panthers as well as hunting, fishing, and golf.  His greatest pride was watching his sons play ball and participate in the United States Armed Forces.  Lex also had fun helping his grandchildren fish and watching them play.

Lex was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Kannapolis where he served as a board member, a youth sponsor and was member of the Wesleyan Men’s group.  He also joined the young adult men in basketball games in the gym.  He had many friends over the years there.

Lex was a gentleman who shared his smile with everyone.  He will be missed.  Fond memories will be cherished, and eternity will reunite the family.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 25th, 2024 at First Wesleyan Church (301 Bethpage Rd, Kannapolis NC 28081).  Visitation times will be from 3pm- 4pm.  Service to follow from 4pm-5pm.  The family will gather at the home of Will and Jennifer.

If you would like to make a donation in honor of Lex, please send it to Best of Care Assisted Living at 234 Northdale Ave, Kannapolis NC 28081.  The family appreciates all they did to care for Lex.
