Lillian Alice Deal

Obituary: Ms. Lillian Alice Deal died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at her home after a period of declining health. She was born on March 9, 1936, daughter of Carl M. Deal and Annie Graham Deal. Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth Boger (Jim) of Salisbury and Rachel Priddy of Winston-Salem, two brothers, Dr. Edmond Deal (Ann) of King, and Ralph Deal of Mooresville, six nephews and one niece. She retired from Belk and was an active member of Coddle Creek ARP Church until recent years. She was active in the Rowan County Astronomy Club. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 31 at 3:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. A receiving will take place following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
