Lillian Price Timmons

Obituary: Lillian Price Timmons, 95, of Huntersville, formerly of Kannapolis died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville after a period of declining health. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 18 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris O'Guin officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Lillian was born April 21, 1918 in Union Co. NC, a daughter of the late Jessie and Mary Elizabeth Timmons Price. She was a long-time area resident and member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. In earlier years, Lillian worked for Cannon Mills in the Wash Cloth Dept. until retiring in the 80's. She loved her church and being a homemaker for her family. Lillian enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She will be missed. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Cyrus Eugene Timmons, her daughter, Joyce T. Brown and by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her granddaughter, Kelli Langlois of Kannapolis and her great-grandson, Cyrus Langlois as well as several nieces and nephews.

Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.
