Lillian Marlene Wall

Marlene Rowland Wall, 86 of Concord went to be in the sweet arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Death was unexpected. 

Marlene was born June 5, 1938 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Henry Franklin and Hazel Lillian Rowland. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Johnsie Hilliard. 

Family members left to cherish her memory include a son, Pastor Scott Christy and wife Tammy of Concord, and two daughters, Tonya Hare and husband Leslie of Portsmouth, Va. And Kelley Wright of Salisbury.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mrs. Wall 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Message Community Church, 1008 Moose road, Kannapolis, NC 28083 conducted by Bishop Steve Rich and Pastor Scott Christy.

Mrs. Wall served as a registered nurse, retiring with over 50 years of service. She was a member of First Assembly Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She enjoyed sewing crocheting, working crossword puzzles and reading.
