Obituary: Lillie Elnita Ammons Casper Robinson, 82, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 10. 2015 at Five Oaks Manor following a period of declining health. She was born December 7, 1932 in Marion County, SC a daughter of the late Boyd and Azalee Caulder Ammons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Casper who was killed in action in the Korean Conflict, her second husband, Benny Leroy Robinson who died in 1989 and a brother, Boyd Davis Ammons who died in 2000. Lillie was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She assisted her husband in construction work for many years. She retired from Fieldcrest Cannon Plt.'s #6 and #4 with 24 years of service. She later worked for the Cabarrus County Dept. of Social Services. Funeral services will be 12; 00 P.M. Monday, April 13, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home conducted by Revs. Randy Tucker, Roger Bostic and Chris Nessina. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. At other times they will be at their respective residences. Survivors include two daughters, Dwana Everhart and Mary Ann Clay (Tim) both of Kannapolis, one sister, Peggy Joan Boulin of China Grove, two grandsons, Terry Morton and Ronald Morton both of Kannapolis, three great grandsons, Dustin Morton, Terry Morton, III, and Tyler Sellers and one great granddaughter, McKenzie Morton of Charlotte.
