Obituary: Lillian Louise Gardner Hickman, 88, of Concord went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2017 at CHC-Northeast Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was born November 12, 1928 in Lancaster County, SC a daughter of the late Walter John Gardner and the late Annabelle Garner Gardner. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Dale Deason. Mrs. Hickman was of the Baptist Faith, a homemaker and a loving mother and wife. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William Hickman, four sons; Wayne (Vickie) Deason of Memphis, Mike (Pam) Deason of Harrisburg, Jim (Jeannie) Deason of Pensacola, Fa., and Doug ( Bobbi) Deason of Picayune, Miss., one sister, Barbara Headden of Columbia, SC, daughter-in-law, Dianna Deason of Memphis, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 23, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg.
