Linda Twitty Barringer

Obituary: Linda Twitty Barringer, 73, of Kannapolis died October 31, 2017. She was born February 16, 1944 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Eli and Bertha Laney Twitty. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lynn Barringer. Linda lived in Colorado and raised her family for many years before moving back home to live. Linda enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Carolina fan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Brad Hargett. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior at Whitley's. Linda is survived by her son, Norman Barringer of Utah, two grandchildren, Logan Barringer and Timothy Barringer, Jr., two sisters, Sheila Weant (David) and Carol Rogers (Lawrence) and a brother, Michael Twitty (Sharon).
