Linda Lou Canupp Cook

Obituary: Linda Lou Canupp Cook, 66, of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her home.A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, July 1st at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Posey officiating. Burial will follow at Kannapolis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home, at other times they will be at the family residence.Linda was born February 19, 1945, a daughter of the late Charles and Opal Billings Canupp. In her early years of marriage, she worked for several area Mills. Later she worked at Terry Products for 10 years and then she worked in Housekeeping at Microtel in Concord for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Loverne Cook, Sr., 3 sons Jerry C. Cook, Charles E. Cook and Arnold L. Cook, Jr. and a brother, Jerry Canupp. Linda was a devoted mother and wife and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.Mrs. Cook is survived by her son Berry Cook, Sr. and his wife, Michele of Kannapolis and her "daughter", Kay Ragan Cook of Concord.
