Obituary: Linda "Bootie" Christy Daniel went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Luther "Luke" Christy and Myrtle Sloop Christy. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Daniel and brother, Kenneth "Coot" Christy. She was a longtime member of God's Church of Faith and retired from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Linda was survived by her 2 daughters; Leigh Sidden of Greenville and Eugenia Brown of China Grove; her brothers, Richard Christy of Kannapolis and L.A. Christy of China Grove; her sisters, Elizabeth "Sissy" Dial and Judy Haga, both of Kannapolis. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Crystal Sidden of Salisbury, Joey Sidden and Matthew Lamb, both of China Grove and Jessica Hilton of Concord and 4 great-grandchildren; Peyton and Makenzie Nunn, Haven Burgess, Noah Smith and 11 nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 15 at God's Church of Faith with Rev. Jeff Upright officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place at 11:00 AM Monday, February 16 at West Lawn Memorial Park.
