Linda Wilson Davidson

Obituary: Linda Wilson Davidson, 73, of Kannapolis died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health. Her funeral will be held at Whitley's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 21 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday prior to the funeral. Linda was born June 29, 1942 in Gaston Co., the daughter of the late Garland and Myrtle Haynes Wilson. She worked for Cannon Mills and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Wilson Davidson and her brother, Gene Wilson. She is survived by her 2 sons Michael Davidson of Concord and Billy Davidson of Kannapolis, her 2 daughters; Debra Sue Davidson of Kannapolis and Lori Ann Broome of Concord. Linda is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Daniel, Nicholas and Tina Broome, 3 great-grandchildren; Michaela, Isabella and Ryker as well as her niece, Chris Wilson and her nephew, Duke Wilson.
