Linda Dillard

Obituary: Linda Greene Dillard, 76, passed away Friday evening, May 4, 2018, at CHS-Northeast Medical Center. Born September 17, 1941 in Cabarrus County, Linda was a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Austin Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dolphus Owens and her second husband, Donald Dillard. Linda retired from Neil Medical Group in Mooresville. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and her cat, "Stinky". Mrs. Dillard will be greatly missed and always loved. Family members include her husband, Ronald Sanford, children, Randy Owens Dillard (Jackie), Dwayne Dillard (Dwayne Jenkins) and Dee Dooley, grandchildren Brandy and Jennifer Dillard; great-grandchildren Alexis and Lacy James, and Haley and Braxton Frazer; her brother Richard Greene (Barbara), her sisters, Marlene Taylor, Pat Connell (Roger), Phyllis Steinauer (Bill) and Tammy Martin (Mitch); nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 9th from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Genesis Baptist Church, 9710 Old Concord Rd., China Grove, NC. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm in the church, conducted by Rev Gene Edwards, Pastor. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
