Obituary: Linda Darlene Biles Dwiggins, 52, of Kannapolis went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a 24 year cancer survivor. Linda was born on August 29, 1961 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Alfred Ray and Ruth McManus Biles. She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School and was a waitress at Western Sizzlin Steak House until her health started to decline in 1989. She was a member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church and active in the Amity Circle as long as her health permitted. A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 22 at North Kannapolis U.M.C. with Pastor Kristy Burnette officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Linda is survived by her husband, Timothy Dwiggins of the home, two sons; Jeremy and Jason Dwiggins of Kannapolis, three sisters; Carolyn White (Estus) of Kannapolis, Terry Talbert (Danny) of Holden Beach, and Angela Wagner (Michael) of Kannapolis, a special Aunt and Uncle; Guy and Dorothy McManus, special friends; Elaine Tompkins and Annette Suther, and her church family from North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. They would like to extend a special thank you to Levine Cancer Center, Hospice Care of Cabarrus County, and Moose Pharmacy in Kannapolis.
