Linda Darnell Lowder Jenkins

Obituary: Linda Darnell Lowder Jenkins, 59 of Kannapolis, NC passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sep. 3, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Darnell was born on September 6, 1955 in Iredell Co., NC, the daughter of Milas Junior Lowder and the late Doris Ruth Morgan Harris and her step-father, David Caldwell Harris. Darnell was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church and had worked in the Healthcare field. She was a loving wife and mother. Her funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sep. 5, 2015 at Blackwelder Park Baptist Ch. conducted by Rev. Phil Goble, Jr. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends at the Church from 11:30-1:00 before the service. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Roger Jenkins of the home, daughters; Christi Jenkins Peugh (Randall) of Salisbury and Amanda Duffell of Kannapolis, her father, Milas Junior Lowder of Mooresville and 2 sisters; Debra Lowder and Tammie Lowder both of Landis, NC.
