Linda Lee Brown

Linda Brown, 71, of Concord, entered her Eternal Home, finally meeting our Savior, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was born November 15, 1949, in Cabarrus County. Linda was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda graduated with The Lightbringers Brigade (1970-1972) from The Salvation Army's Evangeline Booth College School for Officer Training. She was preceded in death by Mildred Pate (Aunt Lucille). Loving family members left with cherished memories include her children, Louree Engle (Justin) of Concord NC, Jerry Sorrow (Beth) of Concord NC, Keith Sorrow(Jeanne) of Hickory NC, and Christy Sigmon (Jonathan) of Salisbury NC. Mrs. Brown also leaves behind 17 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as long life friend, Julie Price. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at First Wesleyan Church. Services to celebrate Linda's life will begin at 4:00, conducted by Rev. Scott Wheeler, Pastor, and Major Johnny Poole. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Special thanks to Janna Davis with Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus for immense compassion shown to Mrs. Brown.
