Linda Lee (Carter) Loan

Linda Lee Carter Loan, 79, of Lillington passed away on January 24, 2022. She was born July 11, 1942 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late William F. Carter and Mary Elizabeth Moore Carter who died January 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Lee Loan, Sr., her significant other for the last 20 years Robert Willis, a daughter, Sharon Boone, brother, Roger Dale Carter and a great grandchild.

Linda enjoyed sewing, making wedding dresses and crocheting. She also helped Robert Willis with his D.J. music business in the Sandford and N. Myrtle Beach areas for many years.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 1st at West Lawn Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Marty Payton. Her family will receive friends prior at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 2 to 3 PM.

Linda is survived by her daughter,  Tina Ramsey (Rick), sons, Lacy Loan Jr. (Amanda), Bill Loan (Sherry), 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, brother, Rodger W. Carter (Janice), Robert Carter (Jane).

The family asks that anyone who wishes may help with funeral expenses at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
