Linda Annette Williams

Linda Annette Richardson Williams, 76, of Kannapolis, peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, with family by her side at her home.

 Mrs. Williams was born January 20, 1948, in Fairfield County, SC, to the late Lewis Richardson and Iva Lee Branham Richardson.

 Linda worked for over 30 years as a seamstress with several textile companies throughout the southeast. She loved watching cooking shows and preparing meals for her family daily. Linda was a champion for the Lord and enjoyed conversations with everyone who wanted to share the name of Jesus. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

 Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Cynthia Wyatt of Calhoun Falls, SC, son, David Williams (Lydia) of Gulfport, MS, daughter, Alisha Turner of Aiken, SC, daughter, Jessica Gordon (Chris) of Kannapolis, NC, stepdaughter, Susan Ingle (Merle) of Danville, VA, brother, Larry Richardson (Angie) of Centre, AL, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who she loved deeply.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood “Bill” Williams, Sr., stepson, Norwood “Allen” Williams, Jr., sister, Patricia “Pat” Richardson, and brother, Stanley Richardson (surviving spouse, Connie).

 The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. 

 A Celebration of Life service and burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Royal Pines Cemetery in Winnsboro, SC.
