Linda Glass Measmer Yates

Obituary: Linda Glass Measmer Yates, 67, of Kannapolis-High Rock Lake, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Linda was born March 26, 1945 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Glass. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Glass. Linda was a lifelong area resident and was production coordinator at Wells Hosiery Mill in Asheboro. Survivors include her husband, Reginald Lee Yates of the Home, her son, Scott Measmer of Kannapolis, her daughter, Mikki Ayers and husband,David of Huntersville, stepson, Patrick Yates and wife,Dawn of Charlotte, brother-in-law Paul Yates, two granddaughters, Julie Ann and Samantha Grace Ayers and special friend, Caren Bates. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 P.M.
