Linda "Kay" (Nall) Powell

Linda “Kay” Nall Powell, 75 of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Linda was born December 28, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late James Webster Nall and Mildred Magaleen Garrett Nall. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Danita Dee Powell Litaker and a granddaughter, Heather Nichole Litaker.

Loving family members left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 58 years, Lee K Powell,  her son, Chadwick Lee Powell and wife Chris Powell, grandchildren Ashland Nichole Powell Safrit, Blake Litaker, Malana Litaker Hitt and a great grandson Brantley Bailey.

Linda was a faithful member of Mt. Hope Church in Salisbury.

She was a customer service representative for Time Warner Cable/Spectrum for 28 years She enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, crafts, and going shopping.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Boggs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
