Linda “Lynn” Kay Howlett Williams, 73, of China Grove, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2021 at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.
Lynn was born on September 30, 1947 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Carl and Loree Barnhardt.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 35 years, Pete Otha Williams; daughters, Carla (Billy) Pressley III, Jennifer (Danny) Martin, grandchildren, Danelle Pressley, Lisa Pressley, William Pressley IV, Aubrie Stinson, Levi Martin, Lillie Martin, and Great-Grandchild, Delilah Jane.
She was loved by many more family members and friends. Lynn never had an enemy and made an impression on everyone.
Lynn was educated at A.L. Brown High School. She retired from Reynolds Aluminum after 22 years of service. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed preserving history and spending time with the love of her life, Pete, and her dog Kandy.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. The committal service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Mausoleum Chapel at West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating.
The family requests that instead of flowers, memorials may be made to Rowan Museum, 202 North Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
