Lisa Marie (Shealer) Cline

February 27, 1961 — April 1, 2022

Kannapolis

On April, 1st. 2022 Lisa Marie (Shealer) Cline finally arrived home.  Lisa was born on February 27th., 1961, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, following closely behind her twin sister Laurie. Though hundreds of miles would separate in this life their hearts will continue to be inseparable.

Many have been touched by the waves Lisa’s soul made in the waters of life. Along with her immediate family she has made a great difference in the lives of those whom she served in her vocations. As Administrative Assistant to the Admissions Director at Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg, she changed the lives of many would-be Pastors, Deacons and Lay Ministers. Passionate about children and young people, Lisa also changed the lives of many “At Risk” youth while mentoring them through their education and work experiences in the Mount Airy School System, as well as her time with AmeriCorps, teaching in the Head Start program. She also means so much to many of the Special Needs adults in the Mount Airy Gallery Group where she taught art and befriended so many wonderful and amazing artists. Lisa also taught culinary arts to a small group of Special Needs students from whom some went on to work at area restaurants. As an artist herself Lisa inspired and enchanted the imaginations of many others. All who know Lisa know kindness and love.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother Annabelle McDaniel, father Barry Shealer and her grand-parents Billy and Catherine Shealer.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 22 years The Reverend Dale E. Cline of Enochville, two sons, Eric T. Stouch (Lindsay) of Raleigh, N.C. and Andrew M. Stouch (DeDe Brown) of Mount Airy, N.C., as well as, her grand-daughter Margot Jean Stouch (Eric and Lindsay).

Lisa is also survived  by her twin sister Laurie Braun of Mechanicsburg, P.A.; brother, Troy Shealer (Karen) of York Springs, P.A.; sister, Jenny Zimmerman (Larry) of Middletown, P.A.; brother, John Shealer (Larie) of New Oxford, P.A., 4 nieces, 2 nephews and 2 great-nephews.

A special thank you to Shirley Cline (mother-in-law), Robert Cline (brother-in law), Sandy McCoy (beloved caregiver), and the staff at Trinity at Home and Hospice Cabarrus County for their excellent and loving care of Lisa.
