Lisa Wike Mckinney

Obituary: Lisa Michelle Wike McKinney, 49 of Landis went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following period of declining health. Lisa was born June 4, 1967 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of Judith Thompson Wike and the late Michael Wayne Wike. Lisa was a 1985 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. In early life she worked at First Union Bank. She later enrolled in Pfeiffer University, graduating in 1997 with a degree in Public Relations/Communications. She later was a homemaker. She was a talented singer and piano player. She loved her family, especially her daughter Brianna. There will be a Memorial Service at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Chris O'Guin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M.-12:30 P.M. prior to the service. Her family includes her husband, Christopher Mark McKinney, daughter, Brianna McKinney, Mother, Judith Thompson Wike, a sister, Allison Biles and husband Brandon of Landis and many nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at a later date in the National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family request that in Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W.
