Lois Hayer Gardner

Obituary: Lois Hayer Gardner, 86, of 3901 Shiloh Church Rd. Davidson died May 4, 2009 at CMC Northeast. She was born May 20, 1922 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Elvin Lee Hayer and Katie Johnson Hayer. In her earlier years, she had worked at Cannon Mills Co for several years. She was a home maker and loved gardening and canning. She was a member of Kannapolis Church of God. Her funeral service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday May 6, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Sam Crisp. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, C.B. Gardner, 2 daughters Terri G. Sides and husband Jimmy of Mooresville, and Susan G. Ketner and husband Danny of Davidson, three grandchildren: Blake Ketner, Rebecca Ketner and Robin Hilton, and two greatgrandchildren: Alan Michael Hilton and Kameron Blair Hilton.
