Lois Christine Jackson Henry

Obituary: Concord, NC- Lois Christine Jackson Henry, age 85, of Concord Place Assisted Living Center, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 after a period of declining health. She was born December 9, 1923 in Chesterfield County, SC, the daughter of the late Lon and Pauline Jackson. She moved to this area about 70 years ago and worked for the former Cannon Mills Co. Plt.#4 Weave Room. She was a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Henry, a daughter, Jeanette Doolittle, two grandchildren, and eleven brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. James Pauley. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include her son, Jack Jackson of China Grove, NC; two daughters, Shirley Graves of Holly Ridge, NC and Linda Sossoman of Concord, NC; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
