Lois (Barnes) Stallings

Lois Barnes Stallings, 76, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Wednesday evening, October 4, 2023, at Tucker Hospice House.

Born August 25, 1947, in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Grover Barnes and Mandy Jane Overcash Barnes.  In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Bobby Stallings and a granddaughter, Brittany Graham.

Lois retired from Cannon Mills after many years of loyal service. She loved her family, enjoyed Bingo, cooking and baking.  She attended Faith Baptist Church.  Mrs. Stallings will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Loving family members include her daughters, Julie Hunter (Bradley Butler) and Telisa Graham; her sister, Barbara Hunter (Henry); granddaughters, Amber Watts and Jasmine Graham; niece, Melody Hatley and nephew, Timmy Hunter.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday evening, October 7th, at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Lois will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by the Reverend James Pauley.
