Obituary: - Lora Jean Pulver Henry, age 65, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC after a short illness.She was born August 26, 1946 in Weld County, Colorado, the daughter of the late John Christopher Pulver and Helen Louise White Pulver. She and her husband moved to Concord, NC in 1987. Lora was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed oil painting and spending times in the Rocky Mountains throughout her life. Her family fondly remembers her love of birds.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Fort Collins, Colorado. The family will receive friends locally from 6:00 to 8:00 P.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis, NC.Survivors include her husband of almost 43 years, James R. Henry; two daughters, Mary B. Crabb of Chapman, Kansas and Larine R. Smarr of Concord, NC; three grandchildren, Patrick O. Barnhardt of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Gaelen T. Crabb of Chapman, Kansas, and Emily H.
