Loree Terry Wingler Clark

Obituary: China Grove, NC- Loree Terry Wingler Clark, age 75, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2015 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville, NC after a period of declining health. She was born January 1, 1940 in Rowan County, NC, the daughter of the late J.D. Terry and Ressie Maggie Mills Terry. Loree was employed as an assistant manager with Corner Mart in Landis, NC for fifteen years. Her daughters fondly remember her love for babies, watching squirrels & birds in nature, and visiting the mountains especially during the fall of the year. She is regarded as the best mother and grandma that anyone could ever have. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Elliott Clark who died February 17, 2001. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 4, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Survivors include her four daughters, Kristie Clark and Cherrie Fink, both of Salisbury, NC; Sandy Clark of China Grove, NC; and Breta Millard Brooksville, FL; six grandchildren, Tabatha, Keith, Natisha, Christopher, Jonathan, and Jasmine; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Claudine Tucker (Joe) of NC; Patricia Collins (Paul) of SC; and Evangeline Litton (Kavin) of Kansas; and one brother, Glen Terry (Beverly) of FL.
