Lori Isenhour

Obituary: Lori Ann Wilson Isenhour, 47, of Mt. Ulla, NC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House following a short period of declining health. She was born June 25, 1965 in Cabarrus County, NC daughter of Mary Catherine Wages Daniels of Mt. Ulla and the late Roy Jessie Wilson, Jr. She was a 1983 graduate of South Rowan High School, attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College and graduated from UNC-Charlotte. She was employed by the Rowan and Iredell County Schools and later the private sector as a kindergarten teacher for over 20 years. Lori was a member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. She loved working with children, her family, and driving her mustangs. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Chris O'Guin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. Survivors include her mother: Mary Catherine Wages Daniels of the home, brothers, Michael Daniels of Mt. Ulla and Ronnie Wilson of China Grove, maternal grandmother, Ordie Barbee of Kannapolis, uncles, Junior (Linda) Anderson of Kannapolis, Robert Wages of China Grove, and Raymond Wages of Kannapolis. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
