Lori Ann Wilhelm

Obituary: Lori Ann Lawson Wilhelm, 37, of Woodleaf went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence. She had been in declining health for 3 ½ years. Lori was born January 16, 1981 in Polk County, Florida a daughter of Melody Ann White Lawson and the late James Lawson. She knew Bob White as her father. Lori was a physician's assistant who served as a medical missionary wherever she was. She and her husband also served as missionaries in Oradea, Romania. She spent many hours working in the local hospitals and villages treating the infirmed and spreading the joy of Jesus Christ. Funeral services for Lori are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 175 Young Mountain Road, Cleveland, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 A.M., if any wish to come: until the time of the service Interment will be 1:00 P.M. Friday March 9, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Efland, NC with the family receiving friends in the church from 11:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. prior to the graveside service. Family left to cherish her memory are her husband of 17 years; Stephen Wilhelm of the home, two sons, Cristopher and Johnathan, one daughter, Csilla, one sister, Christina Lawson, one half-sister, Mary Lou Pease and a niece Madison Rain Tenney. "The family would like to thank the staff of the DaVita Dialysis Centers of Kannapolis and Salisbury and to UNC-Chapel Hill Hospital and staff for their love and care shown to Lori during her illness."
