Louis T. Frye, Jr.

Obituary: Louis T. Frye Jr., 61 of Kannapolis passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Frye was born on November 21, 1952 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Thurman Frye Sr. and the late Helen M. Smith Frye. Mr. Frye attended A.L. Brown High School, enjoyed astronomy as a hobby and was formerly employed by Pillowtex in the sewing room. Private services will be held by the family. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Concord. Whitley's Funeral Home is assisting the Frye family. He is survived by three sisters; Judy Mullis of Kannapolis, Betty Franquemont and husband Jed of Lenoir, and Susan Irvin and husband Mike of Kannapolis, four nephews; Lach Franquemont and wife Rachel of Providence, RI, Scott Franquemont of Lenoir, Lt. Col. Ross Franquemont and wife Jessica of CA, and Bryan Irvin of Charlotte, NC, a great niece; Ella Franquemont of Lenoir, and two great nephews; Blaine & Tyler Franquemont of CA. The family suggest memorials be made to: The NorthEast Foundation, 920 Church St. N., Concord, NC, 28025.
