Louise Hurlocker Cochran

Obituary: Louise Hurlocker Cochran, 83 of Concord went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 7, 2014. Her death follows a period of declining health. Louise was born in Cabarrus County on August 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Harvey Wilson Hurlocker and Gertrude Crisco Hurlocker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd Cochran who died in 1983, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Louise will be remembered for her devotion to her family, love of gospel music, playing the piano and accordion and her never ending love for her Lord. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services to celebrate Louise's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with her son-in-law, Rev. Billy Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the services on Thursday at Whitley's Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Surviving Louise are 3 sons; Wayne Cochran and wife Kim of Rockwell, Gary Hurlocker and wife Barbara and Roger Cochran and wife Sue both of Kannapolis, 2 daughters; Frances Campbell, and Kay Payne and husband Billy both of Kannapolis, a brother; Arnold Hurlocker and wife Vickie of Salisbury, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
