Louise Ghant

Obituary: Mrs. Louise S. Ghant, 79, of Millers Creek, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Dec. 20, 2016, after an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1937, in Cleveland County, N.C., to William Grady Stringfellow and Vernie Mae Wright Stringfellow. She was employed in the banking industry for over 30 years. Louise is survived by her daughter Pam Price and husband Donnie Price of Millers Creek, N.C., three sisters, Ruth Willis and husband Donald Willis, Lib Prater and Clay and Betty Cook, and her grandchildren, Michelle Ghant and Sarah Ghant. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mike Ghant, and her sister, Brenda Sain. A Celebration of Louise's Life will be held at 1 p.m., on Feb. 4, 2017, at Mulls Memorial Baptist Church in Shelby. Reverend Donald Willis will be conducting the service.
