Obituary: Louise Butler Hodge, 91, of Kannapolis passed away June 9, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born April 15, 1924 in Rowan County to the late James Franklin Butler and the late Ora Rosetta Rodgers Butler. She was a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church and had retired from Cannon Mills where she worked in the cutting room. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William Hodge. Louise is survived by two sons: James Alfred Hodge (Linda Ann) and William Franklin Hodge (Shirley Ann) all of Kannapolis, along with 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday June 12, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Cline officiating. Burial will follow in St. Enoch Lutheran Church Cemetery.
