Louise Shell Oxendine

Obituary: Mrs. Louise Shell Oxendine, age 75, of 4022 Pebblebrook Circle, Concord, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC following an extended illness. She was a native of Carter County, TN and was the daughter of the late Aster B. and Willie Oaks Shell. Mrs. Oxendine was a homemaker and a member of the New Testament Independent Baptist Ch. of Kannapolis. Survivors include her husband of fifty four years, Hassell Oxendine, of the home; two daughters, Carol O. Pritchard and Cathy Oxendine; three granddaughters and their husbands; one grandson and one great grandson. Two sisters, Patsy Testerman, and Katherine Church and one niece also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Oxendine will be conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at 2 p.m., at the New Testament Independent Baptist Ch. in Kannapolis conducted by Pastor Bobby Utley and Brother Tom Radish. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive from 1-2 prior to the service and at other times be at the home. Music for the service will be under the direction of David Fisher. Active pallbearers will be Jonathan J. Pritchard, Richard Shepherd, Jr., Darrell E. Smith, Gary Little, Donald Hipp, Mike Wike, Tim Eudy and Chuck Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Dillingham and members of New Testament Independent Baptist Ch. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bobby Jo McDonald, Janet Walker and the nurses & aides at the Tucker Hospice House.
