Lucille Nally Brown

Obituary: Lucille Nally Brown, 90 formerly of S. Rose Ave. Kannapolis, died Friday August 13, 2010 at Big Elm Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. Lucille was born on June 2, 1920, daughter of the late Roy and Hettie Marcus Nally. She was employed for many years at Cannon Mills where she worked in the weave room. She attended West A Street Church of God. In addition to her parents Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Judge H. Brown, and a son, Ronald Brown. She is survived by a half brother, Robert Brown of Florida, a sister-in-law, Kathleen Brown Castor and husband Leroy, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home with Rev. James Griffin officiating. Family will receive friends from 3-4 PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
