Lucille (Fink) Plott

Lucille Fink Plott, 87 of Kannapolis passed away January 7, 2022 at the Citadell of Salisbury after a period of declining health. She was born on August 1, 1934 in Cabarrus Co., to Ode and Eva Cagle Fink. She was one of 13 children. In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Grover Plott Sr., 10 of her brothers and sisters and her daughter-in-law, Joan Pierce Plott.

Lucille was a lifelong area resident. She had to stop attending school at a young age to go to work to support her family. She will be remembered as a hard worker. As an adult Lucille worked as a toe machine operator for Kayser-Roth Hosiery Mill in Concord. She was a good cook and was known for her biscuits. Lucille will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

A celebration of Lucille's life will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Eastwood Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM before the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Concord.

Lucille is survived by son Grover Plott (Karen) of Kannapolis; her 2 daughters, Barbara Davis (Terry) of China Grove and Dianne Yost (Ron) of Kannapolis, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Lucille is also survived by her 2 sisters, Caroline Burris and Hattie Crisco and many nieces and nephews.
