Lula Mae Allmon

Lula Mae Phifer Allmon, 95, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home.

She was born November 15, 1929 in Rowan County to the late Daniel Boone Phifer and Zeldia Bollinger Phifer.

Lula graduated from Cleveland High School in 1949, she was married for 42 years to the love of her life Archie (Buck) Allmon, she enjoyed cross stitching, traveling and yard work, She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Lee “Buck” Allmon, a son Randy Allmon, brother, Paul Franklin Phifer, sisters Mary Alice Dedmon and Martha Jane Hurlock,

Those left to cherish her memory, grandson Andy Allmon and his wife Casey a niece Trudy and a nephew Michael.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday March 17, 2025 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cindy Nanney officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at the church.
