Lynn Greene

Toni “Lynn” Greene, 62, of Concord, passed away Thursday morning, November 4, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House, following a brief illness.

Born April 12, 1959, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Tony J. and Annie Mae Wilson Blackwelder and was also predeceased by 3 sisters.

Lynn had been a talented local beautician, earlier working for JC Penny, later becoming self-employed.  She was gifted artistically, loving to sew, draw, quilt and could do all types of crafts. Gone too soon, Lynn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family members left with cherished memories include her brother, Tracy Blackwelder (Kathy); sister, Tonya Riddle; her aunts, Terry Moore and Betty Morgan; uncle, Benny Wilson; extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Graveside services to remember and celebrate Lynn’s life will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Barnette, Pastor, Brookdale Baptist Church.
