Mabel Sue (Doss) Ballard

Mabel Sue Doss Ballard, 88, of Kannapolis passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home. She was born February 21, 1933in Stokes County, a daughter of the late William Hobert Doss and Beatrice Speaks Doss.

Mabel formerly worked at several hosiery mills in the area before retiring.  She attended Passion Ecclesia Church.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday, May 7th at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Don Gray. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, May 6th at Whitley’s Funeral Home.

Mabel is survived by her two sons, Curtis  James Ballard (Teresa), Larry Hooker, grandchildren, Bradley  Ballard, Brandon Ballard, Adam Hooker, Jonathan Hooker, Amanda Alaniz, Tyler Hooker.
