Obituary: Mabel Elizabeth Bostian Wall, 98, of Kannapolis died Tuesday April 13, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born May 20, 1911 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late John Samuel Bostian and Lottie Honeycutt Bostian. She was preceded in death by her husband James Willis Wall on April 10, 2002. She retired from Cannon Mills Company. She was a member of Jackson Park United Methodist Church from it's inception and had been a former Sunday school teacher in the children's dept. for many years and also a member of the U.M.W. of the church. Her family was her main focus in life. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Friday (April 16, 2010) at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Chuck Halipilias. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's. She is survived by three daughters: Colleen Childers and Helen Holshouser both of Kannapolis and Audre Yates of Bonita Springs, Fl., 6 grandchildren: Suzy Farrar, Missy Moncure, Kent Childers, Joy Belk, Scott Yates and Todd Yates, 10 great-grandchildren: Will and Ally Moncure, Lee, Lauren and Alex Yates, Whitney, Brandon and Johnathan Yates, Jody and Gabriel Gann, and her sister Alma Kerr of Mooresville.
