Mable Marie Rogers White

Obituary: Mable Marie Rogers White, 97, of Mooresville passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Best of Care. She was born August 25, 1915 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Jack and Ollie Trexler Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie O'Neil White. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1 sewing room after 47 years of service. She was an active member of Unity United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Unity United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Tim Whittington. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior from 11:00 to 12:00 PM. She is survived by three children; Shirley Bryant of Kernersville, Neil White (Monique) of St. Rock, Quebec, Canada and Charles White (Evelyn) of Mooresville, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Best of Care for their love and care shown to Mable and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity United Methodist Church, 8505 Unity Church Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
