Obituary: Ina Mae Spicer Julian, 84, of Kannapolis, NC passed away at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Mae was born on Feb. 24, 1934 in Wilkes Co., N.C., a daughter of the late John Ernest and Bessie Iona Kennedy Spicer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill "Billy" Lomas Julian, Sr., a grand-daughter, Melissa Benton Cheshire, two sons, Billy Lomas Julian, Jr. and Keith Allen Julian. And also by a sister Carol Lucas. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Debra Benton (Mark Douglas) of Concord, a son Dennis Ray Julian of Scotland Co. NC, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, two brothers; Carl James Spicer (Beck) of Concord and Claude Spicer of Charlotte and two sisters; Louise Humphrey (Harold) of Hickory and Doris Lee of North Wilkesboro. The service for Mrs. Julian will take place at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor James Pauley. Burial follow the service at Carolina Mem.
