Obituary: Mae Belle Horne Swink, 91, of China Grove passed away on May 23, 2015 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born October 6, 1923 in Anson County, the daughter of the late Jack and Bessie Horne. She was preceded in death by husband Harvey Swink, daughter, Joyce Brooks, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Horne, Kay Horne, Lynn Horne, Brian Bailey, two great-grandchildren; Kaely Bailey and Cameron Wall, two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by 8 children, Virginia Horne (Albert), Marilyn Pittmon (Junior), Wilson Bailey, Joan Motley (Ed), Rita Lynn Barber (Tim), Helen Phillips (Alan), Jack Bailey (Sandy), Grover Bailey, one stepson Gary Swink (Viola), three sisters, Lib Flowers, Bessie Lee Mills (Heath), Edna Hildreth, 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Swink was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Peachland. She retired from Cannon Mills, Plt. #1, cutting dept. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. Monday, May 25, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Gary Scoggins and Rev. Randall Ritchie. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. At other times they will be at the residence.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday May 24, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home.

Service: 11:00 A.M., Monday May 25, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Entombment at Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum.
