Margaret Strider Howard Creamer

Obituary: Margaret Strider Howard Creamer, 84, of Kannapolis died Wednesday Jan. 13, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born February 23, 1925 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Joseph Hugh Strider and Eunice Noley Norkett Strider. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willard Thomas Howard Sr. and Wesley Thomas Creamer. She was a member of Shadybrook Baptist Church where she was a member of the Faithful Workers. She retired from Terry Products in 1989 after 32 years. She liked to travel and loved taking care of everybody. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday Jan. 17, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Rickey Oxford. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 prior to the service. Burial will be 1:00 PM Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius. She is survived by her daughter, Ivy Jo Howard Morris and her fiancé, Tony Long, her son, Willard T. (Tommy) Howard Jr. and fiancé Judy, her brother William Hugh Strider, her sister Lois Hailey, three grandchildren: Jeff Pope, Mark Haire and Cortney Howard, and three greatgrandchildren: C.J., Jesse and Wednesday.
