Margaret Nell Fisher

Obituary: Margaret Nell Barrier Fisher, 81, of Kannapolis died Tuesday Feb. 9, 2010 at Transitional Health Services. She was born August 21, 1928 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Lawrence Thomas Barrier and Margaret Hileman Barrier. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 5 brothers. She was a charter member of Concord Bible Church. Her funeral service will be 8:00 PM Wednesday (Feb. 10, 2010) at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tom Sandquist. Interment will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. "Ed" Fisher, her two sons: Eddie Wayne Fisher (Arlene) of Kannapolis and Jerry Lee Fisher of Charlotte, her daughter Gaynell Collins of Pleasant Garden, her brother Thomas O. "Bud" Barrier of Kannapolis, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a number of great-greatgrandchildren.
