Obituary: Margaret Randall Fox, 88, of Kannapolis, NC died Monday, October 15, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House following a short illness. She was born August 27, 1924 in Yates County, NY a daughter of the late George Lewis and Ethel Mae Ogden Randall. She had resided in Kannapolis since 1949. Mrs. Fox was a secretary with Colonial Frozen Foods for 32 years, retiring in 1986. She later was employed with Fredrickson Motor Express in Charlotte for seven years. She was a former state president with Credit Women International serving as president twice. She also was a member of the Cabarrus and Rowan-Salisbury Quilter's Guild. In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Fox in 1993, a grandchild, and a sister, Elizabeth Pounds. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Edward Scott, Hospice Chaplain. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday prior to the service. They will also greet friends as they depart from the Chapel. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Hartsell and Patricia Dwiggins both of Kannapolis, and Gayle Derrick of Columbia, SC., seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild to be born shortly. The family requests that memorials be made to Cabarrus County Meals on Wheels, 1701 S.
